Eduardo released from hospital

Brazilian born Arsenal striker Eduardo has been released from hospital after undergoing surgery on a career threatening broken leg on Saturday.

The 25-year-old suffered a fractured left fibula and an open dislocation of his left ankle after a tackle by Birmingham's Martin Taylor.

Eduardo was born in Rio and played for Bangu at youth level now represents Croatia having spent 6 years at Dinamo Zagreb.
