Alexandre Pato was the star scoring the only goal against Sweden in a friendly at the Emirates Stadium, London.
The game marked the 50th anniversary of the 1958 World Cup final between the two sides and there was a celebratory atmosphere with the strong Brazilian contingent making themselves heard.
With injuries to a number of star names including Kaka, Ronaldo and Ronaldinho, Dunga had named a young squad for the game with an eye on this summer's Olympics.
Pato has everything to be a great player, he is on that way and his success only depends on him," Dunga said after the game.
London has become like a second home to Brazil. This was their fifth friendly in the English capital in the last two years and their third visit to the Emirates.
Brazil's Arsenal midfielder Gilberto Silva was in action on his home ground and ex Gunner Julio Baptista made a return after his loan spell with the Gunners last season.
But the midfielder didn't score often for Arsenal and he was frustrated by Andreas Isaksson's smart save midway through the half, then curled a free-kick narrowly past a post.
Diego was dictating Brazil's tempo but for all their neat passing the Selecao lacked a cutting edge. It wasn't long into the second half before Brazil's fans began chanting for the introduction of Pato and Dunga responded sending on Pato in the 60th minute to a rapturous reception.
It only took 12 mins of Brazil's rising new star to make the difference. When Swedish substitute goalkeeper Shaaban miscued his clearance into Pato's legs just outside the left-edge of the penalty area the teenager still had plenty to do.
He managed to lift a perfectly-placed shot into the far corner from an actute angle to announce his arrival on the international scene.
After the game all the media questions focused on Pato.
"He is not a great player yet. He has only played 30, 40 matches as a professional.
"We need to let him play naturally, because the talent is there. We can't expect him to decide every match, he is only 18 years old." Said Dunga.
