Change of trainer for Flamengo

Flamengo's trainer Julio César Leal has been laid off yesterday evening after the defeat of his team at home against the modest Americano 2-1.
In four played matches, Fla have won only one match against Madureira (goal of Marcos Denner). In full internal crisis, president Marcio Braga has decided to change direction once again.

To replace him, the president has appealed to Cuca, the former trainer of São Paulo FC and Grêmio. He has signed an one-year contract this morning with the Carioca club.
« It is a trainer with a good route, he has always made a good job everywhere he passed. We think that he may be a solution with the current problems of club » said the vice-president, Gerson Biscotto.

As a result of these bad results, Flamengo can't claim any more to win the Copa Guanabara which is the first phase of the Carioca League.
