FC Santos managers met on Monday after the disappointing draw between the "Peixe" and América (3-3) in the Vila Belmiro stadium.

After sevral hours of discussion, the management with at its head President Marcelo Teixeira decided to put an end to the contract of coach Oswaldo Oliveira.

Oliveira arrived in January this year succeeding Wanderley Luxemburgo who left to go Real Madrid, Oswaldo de Oliveira Filho didn't live up to fans and managers expectations. The club aimed for victory in the Paulista League and in the Copa Libertadores this year.

Santos is currently second in the championship of the São Paulo state, seven points behind São Paulo FC and only third in its group in the Copa Libertadores.

The names of Tite, Nelsinho Baptista and Zetti are announced with vacancy.
