Rumours about Internacional's coach Muricy Ramalho's resignation sped up at the same time as Corinthian's bad patch with ex-coach Daniel Passarella.

Muricy Ramalho and Emerson Leão, who currently coaches Vissel Kobe (Japan), are the names been discussed to replace Argentinian coach at the head of the Timão.

Winner of the Gaucho League a few weeks ago, Muricy has already revealed to Internacional players and managers his decision to quit the club. The coach would have badly accepted criticisms after Internacional's elimination in the Copa do Brasil against Paulista last week.

Another lead for the Paulista managers, Nelsinho Baptista's, who won the Brazilian League with Corinthians in 1990. The current coach of Nagoya Grampus in Japan would have been approached by MSI's director Paulo Angioni.
