The arrival of current Olympique Lyonnais forward Nilmar will speed up the impending departure of the Corinthians youngster Jô.

The 18 year old forward confirmed negotiations are in progress with Benfica Lisbon. His agent Marcelo Djian is in the Portuguese capital to finalize the last details of the transfer.

After the failures of the negotiations with Manchester and Anderlecht, Jô wants to make the move to Europe as soon as possible.
