Lyon want Fabinho to pour replace Essien

With Michael Essien’s sale to Chelsea, the name of Cerezo Osaka’s defensive midfielder has been announced by Lyon’s president Jean-Michel Aulas.
The OL’s charismatic manager would have send a representative of the champion of France to negotiate with player’s manager Gilmar Rinaldi.

Visibly surprised by this announcement, Rinaldi told to the Japanese press that his protégé won’t leave Japan immediately : « He won’t leave Japan before the end of his contract because Fabio feels well in the J-League and his club needs him ».

Fabio Alves Felix, 25 years old, played since December 2004 at Cereso Osaka, club of the Japanese first division, where he signed an one-year contract.
This sturdy defensive midfielder, (1m 86 , 72 kg) revealed at São Caetano before winning two Paulista leagues and one Brazil’s Cup Corinthians. The player has never played with the Seleção.
