Palmeiras Meet Again The Animal

After the qualification for the Copa Libertadores got in the Parque Antartica stadium against Fluminense 3-2 at the time of the last round of the Brazilian League, President Della Monica decided to act quickly for transfers.
The Paulista managers who searched for an experienced forward, have chosen the former Palmeiras star, Edmundo who has been revealed in the Verdão between 1993 and 1995.
Nicknamed "The Animal" for his aggressive character, the 34 year forward settled down. Scoring 15 goals in the national championship for Figueirense, Edmundo has been brilliant thanks to his efficiency and his steadiness on fields. The player notably scored a beautiful brace at the Parque Antartica stadium against Palmeiras in championship and received an ovation by Verdão's fans (the Torcida) at the end of the match.
The "Animal" signed an one year contract last Wednesday and he should be joined in a few days by Goias right-back Paulo Baier.
