The Saoudi Federation has just advertised Marcos Paquetá's appointment to manage the national selection which will take part in the World Cup 2006 in Germany next June. Saudi Arabia will play against Spain, Ukraine and Tunisia at the time of the first round.

Marcos Paquetá will be the fifth Brazilian who will coach a selection for this 18th world cup. He will meet there Carlos Alberto Parreira (Brazil), Luiz Felipe Scolari (Portugal), Alexandre Guimarães (Costa Rica) and Zico (Japan).

The Brazilian coach won two world cups in 2003 with U-17's Seleção in Finland and with U-20's Seleção in the United Arab Emirates.
