Elber Joins Cruzeiro

Giovane Elber (33 years old) will join the Brazilian League in January. The forward has just signed an one year contract with Cruzeiro-MG.

Elber will discover the Brasileiro for the first time of his career. Indeed, Elber only played in Europe with a first experience in Switzerland (Grasshoppers Zürich), then in Germany which corresponded to the summit of his career (Stuttgart and Bayern München.

In 2003, he joined the champion of France, Lyon, without success. He left the French club in January 2004 to Borussia Mönchengladbach. His back in Germany was a failure because of injuries and problems with his coach Horst Koppel.
