Robert From PSV To Betis

PSV Eindhoven's forward Robert de Pinho de Souza has been lent until the end of the season to Betis Sevilla. The Spanish club is in a difficult situation in the Liga and has been eliminated in the first round of the Champions League.

The 24-year player had joined the Dutch club one year ago at the time of the transfer window from Mexico (Atlas Guadalajara) but he never could demonstrate all his potential. He was the best scorer of the Mexican League in 2004.

Robert will have to replace his compatriot Ricardo Oliveira who is wounded since November. He suffers from a crossed ligament rupture and he will take up again training on March.
