Paulo César is back to PSG

Last Sunday, defender Paulo César came back to Paris after his one-year loan to Santos which ended tenth in the last Brazilian League.

The defender shouldn't stay at Paris and he had received offers from several Brazilian clubs and Sporting Lisbon.

But the new PSG coach, Guy Lacombe, seems to want to count on the right-back.

"I need link in game and I know that César can play back on the two sides. He can be on midfield too, it is interesting", said the coach.

Paulo César who will take up again training with his new team mates on Wednesday, has a contract with PSG which will end in 2007.
