Fabio Bilica Joins Istres

Central defender Fabio Bilica signed this morning (Monday) a contract for FC Istres (French division 2) for 17 months.

The player (1m87 for 80 kg) played in 2005 at FC Köln in the Bundesliga and he has just done a two week training period with Charleroi (Belgium). However, there was not an agreement concerning contract duration and financial elements between the defender and the Belgian club.

Fabio Bilica Alves da Souza, 27 years old, played 16 times with the Brazilian Olympic selection between 1999 and 2000 with two goals scored. He notably took part in the Olympic games in Sydney in the company of Ronaldinho.
