He received the ball closed to the area, dribbled Fernando Dias and finished on Diego’s left side. Madureira 1-0.
The supporters were impatient, and Flamengo started to be more effective on attack, then on 31 minutes Luizão scored, after colliding with a defender. It could be the beginning of a reaction, but in a strange play, Goalkeeper Diego and Defender Felipe Dias collided, and Madureira’s forward André Dias anticipated and received the ball with enough time for easily scoring. 2-1. after halftime, Flamengo played in a very offensive tactics, but with no creativity, while Madureira explored counter-attacks. On 12 minutes of second half, Luizão again, scored after a rebound from keeper Renan. It wasn’t enough and Flamengo started to play with 4 players on attack, while Madureira was defending with 8. Till the mark of 44 minutes, when Muriqui received a long pass from Fábio Junior and scored, deciding the match for Madureira and making Flamengo’s supporters and board furious.
