The Taça Rio has been won on Wednesday evening by Madureira.

Madureira beat Americano 1-0 in the final thanks to a goal from Maicon in the 5' minute.

The Carioca final will be Madureira against Botafogo. The first leg and the return leg will take place at Maracanã on April 2nd and 9th.
