Palmeiras' coach Leão didn't survive after the severe thrashing inflicted on the Verdão this week-end by Figueirense, 6-1.

The dismissal is quite severe because Palmeiras had a good Paulista League run finishing third and the Verdão are still in the race in the Copa Libertadores in which they will play against São Paulo in the last sixteen.
