Santos are interested in Luis Fabiano

Santos announced their interest in FC Sevilla's forward Luis Fabiano. The Paulista managers came into contact with him at the beginning of the 2006 and the former São Paulo forward was rather favourable to a return to Brazil but his situation within the Sevillan club has changed becoming a more regular starter.

So, the Peixe decided to wait until the second transfer period will take place in August to try to recruit the former São Paulo striker. For that, Santos have their own an star, Reinaldo. The former Paris SG forward is a Luis Fabiano's friend, they were team mates at São Paulo at the time of the season 2002-2003. He might encourage him to return to Brazil.

Moreover, Santos might also be interested in repatriating midfielder Elano who plays currently for Shaktar Donetsk (Ukraine).
