The sensation of this Copa do Brasil came from Ipatingão stadium where Ipatinga eliminated Santos at the time of shootout.

At the end of the 90 minutes, the two clubs were even on the same score of the first leg, one-one. Santos' midfielder Kleber had opened the scoring at the 22' minute but Ipatinga's forward Enrico equalized just before the half time.

Lastly, in the last Wednesday's match, Atlético-MG and Flamengo drew 0-0. Fla had won 4-1 in the first leg.

The match between Vasco and Volta Redonda will play on Thursday (0-0 in the first leg).
