Brazilian League round 10: Palmeiras and Corinthians struggle

The two Paulista clubs find themselves in the middle of crisis at the beginning of championship.

The Verdão had their eighth defeat in ten matches playing away against Atlético-PR, two nil. Alan Bahia and Evandro were Palmeiras' executioners who are the last but one, one point behind the last, Santa Cruz in the table.

Corinthians are still struggling with another defeat at home against Flamengo, two nil. Former Goias coach Geninho's arrival didn't change Timão's situation which keep the 18th place.

At the head of the ranking, Cruzeiro and Internacional emphasize their fist place thanks to successes against Fortaleza and Fluminense.

The match between Flu and Internacional was fierce fought with two red cards and a brace from Internacional's midfielder Iarley.
