Carlos Alberto Parreria made it clear that the Brazillians must win their first match against Croatia to help provide the momentum necessary to progress in the tournament.
"The most important thing for us in the first match is to win in any way because that let's you keep on working calmly and the players gain more in confidence with what they are doing," he said in todays press conference.
Parreira also stated that he has no fear of meeting Argentina in the later stages and is confident that Brazil can beat them if the two teams meet.
"I want Brazil to play all seven games of the competition. So, if we have to play against Argentina, I am confident that Brazil will win that match and Argentina will have to wait four more years."
