Except surprise, the current FC Santos coach Wanderley Luxemburgo will be announced as the new coach of the Seleção.

Got in touch with the Brazilian press by phone one week ago, the former Real Madrid coach didn't clearly confirm but would have insinuated his arrival at the head of the Brazilian selection.

Six years after a first Auriverde experience, « Luxa » might be back to bring back the Seleção on the right track.

Statistics with the Brazilian selection are in the aid of him with 35 matches played, 22 wins, 8 draws and 5 defeats from 1998 to 2000.

The technical commission should be completely renewed with FC Santos staff's arrival: former international Serginho Chulapa as goalkeeper coach, Antônio Mello as physical coach and Joaquim Grava as doctor.

This arrival should be confirmed next days by the president of the CBF, Ricardo Teixeira.

The next match of the Seleção will take place on August 16th at Oslo against Norway.
