South Africa enquire of Parreira's availability

2010 World Cup hosts South Africa have drawn up a short list of potential coaches to prepare them for the tournament.

Top of the most wanted list is Carlos Alberto Parreira, who looks certain to leave Brazil after their disappointing world cup exit.

Reports in South Africa suggest that Parreria was approached before the German finals but that he requested the S.A.F.A to come back to him after the World Cup finishes.

Reports in Brazil are suggesting that Wanderley Luxemburgo is in line to return as Brazil coach but the public appear to favour the return of Scolari. The CBF are expected to make an announcement shortly, with Parreria widely tipped to step down.
