As the start of the European leagues draws near the South American scouts have been busy in Rio, watching
Flamengo's Brazil cup stars.

The latest European bound player appears to be Flamengo midfielder Renato.

Flamengo are believed to have rejected Bordeaux initial offer and are thought to be demanding €4.6 million (£3.1 million) for his signature.

However, Renato is thought to have a buy-out clause in his contract and Bordeaux are ready to meet it so they can open talks with the attacking midfielder.
