Preview: Switzerland x Brazil, Injuries force changes

Injuries have hit Dunga's team as they prepare for their friendly against Switzerland at 20:30GMT on Wednesday.

The game see's the international return of in form pair Diego and Ricardo Oliveira, who make their first appearance for Dunga's new look side.

Robinho is sure to welcome back old Santos team mate Diego and hope they can renew their sucessful partnership.

Brazilian coach Dunga is already without defender Lucio (Gladstone in) and now Edmilson has added to his woe due to an injured right ankle. Borussia Dortmund's Tinga has been drafted in as a replacement.

The news followed the CBF's announcement on Tuesday that Silva had dropped out for "personal reasons".

Silva's Arsenal team-mate Denilson has been brought in as replacement for Brazil's final match of the year.

Although this is his first call-up at full level, Denílson was the Captain of the Under-17 squad and was expected to make the jump to full international level after his sudden move to the Premiership.

Denílson joins fellow new arrivals Lucas (Grêmio) and left-back duo Marcelo (Real Madrid, ex-Fluminense) and Carlinhos (Santos) as the ‘Brazilian’ talents. Arsenal paid São Paulo 5 million Euros for the player and he seems to be responding well.
