Adriano Elected Worst Player in Italy

The Brazilian attacker has won the 2006 Golden Drum.

In recognition for totting up over 1,000 minutes without hitting the back of the net striker Adriano was revealed as the recipient of the "Bidone d'oro 2006" and with it the accolade of worst player in Italy.

Close to ten thousand "Catersport" listeners voted for the award with Adrainao clocking up a clear majority. According to Globo the striker received just over 30% of the vote with the Italian Alberto Gilardino coming in second with 9% and fellow Brazilian Ricardo Oliveira completing the podium.
