Juninho Paulista completes Flamengo switch

Former Brazilian international Juninho Paulista has signed with Brazilian club Flamengo.

The player joins from Palmeiras, in what will be his second spell at the club following a loan period in 2002.

"To play important tournaments, and even more the Copa Libertadores, is always very special," explained the 33-year-old.

"I hope to play more time at Flamengo. I'm very happy for being back here.

"I've loved living in Rio de Janeiro and I'm very happy to return."
