One of the first games to be held at the new Wembley Stadium could be a Brazil – England friendly.

According to reports in The Guardian delegates from São Paulo were treated to a guided tour of the soon to be finished stadium last week. While it looks like Germany will be the first side to take on England at the stadium friendlies with Brazil, Argentina and possibly Italy are also in the pipeline.

FA Execs were be keen to make the most of the stadium’s 90,000 seats and lucrative TV deals since England have drawn Estonia, Russia and Andorra in the Euro 2008 qualifiers.

The FA told the BBC, "We are not in a position to announce anything and have no plans to do so," but a formal announcement is expected in the new year.
