Rolando Schiavi signs for Grêmio

Argentinean veteran Rolando Schiavi has been signed for Grêmio. Schiavi was playing for Hércules, currently playing the Spanish second division.

The player arrives for 1.5 year deal given he’s nearing retirement, although there is an option for an extra year by mutual; consent.

Schiavi may well be joined by another foreigner at the Porto Alegre Olímpico as Uruguayan keeper Carini is slated to sign as soon as an agreement can be reached with Inter Milan.
