César to return to Italy

According to reports in the Brazilian press it seems that César ‘s departure from Corinthians is imminent.The left-back did not travel to Jarinu for pre-season training with the rest of the team on Thursday and now his wife has expressed her desire to return to her home country Italy.
César joined Corinthians on loan from Internazionale towards the end of the year but if rumours are correct he could soon be returning. Reports indicate that Corinthians have accepted his choice to leave and the player is in negotiations with his former club.
Edvar Simões, director of football at Corinthians commented, “César worries, and worries a lot. It is a complicated situation and we always respect family issues. We will have to see what happens over the next few days,” before adding, “César is out - there is no other way.“
