Today Ronaldo returned to training with Real Madrid but his future remains uncertain.

As reported by Sambafoot Spanish newspaper AS claimed last week that Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ittihad is ready to offer 20 million Euros for Ronaldo. Their sporting director Mansour Al-Blouwi has, allegedly already spoken to both Real and Ronaldo.

But yesterday (Monday) AS reported that representatives acting on behalf of the striker have met with directors at AC Milan.

Milan offered Madrid 15 million Euros for Ronaldo before the start of the season but had their offer rejected. They do not appear to be holding out hope this time either.

“Ronaldo – yes it’s possible. Ronaldo is a great player. There is a 98% probability that we won’t contract him but that depends on a lot of things. If there exists any possibility we will look at it,” club President Adriano Galliani told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

One barrier to negotiations is that Ronaldo has already played for Real in the Champions League, preventing him from donning a Milan shirt in the same competition this season.

To add to the uncertainty the 30-year old is also being linked to a move to the US, while others are saying it is finally time for him to realise his dream of playing out his twilight years at Flamengo.
