Ronaldo spoke of his delight after bagging a brace in AC Milan's 4-3 win at Siena.
The goals were Ronaldo's first since his move to Milan.
"I must say that it has been a really beautiful day. We gave everything," he told Sky Italia.
"I had cramps, but I was able to finish the match. There is still a lot to work: if you have cramps it means you are not physically at the top."
The win moved Milan into fifth in Serie A and Ronaldo sees no reason why the side cannot build on the success.
"We can go forward. We must give everything in each game," he continued.
"It's a big blow for me not having the possibility to play in Champions League, but I will play it next season."
