Dunga announces squad for friendlies

Today (Thursday) Dunga revealed the names of the twenty-two players he will be taking to Sweden as Brazil face Chile and Ghana on March 24th and 27th respectively.

In what is a rather surprising move considering Dunga’s previous choices three of the squad are based in Brazil - though if they shine in Sweden they may well be on the move. Santos’ Kléber received the call up as did Ilsinho and Josué of São Paulo.

Arsenal’s Baptista gas once again been left out though this time is joined by Edmilson, Lucio and Adriano.

The latest announcement brings the tally of players called up by Dunga to 42.
