Laporta: Ronaldinho will not be sold

Barcelona president Joan Laporta has one again assured fans that Ronaldinho will not be sold in the summer.

Laporta made the declaration after seeing the Brazilian inspire Barca to their 2-0 victory over Deportivo La Coruna last night.

"We will have Ronaldinho for many years at Barca because it is the will of the two parties," said Laporta. "He is a player who needs to feel wanted and we want Ronaldinho, not only because he's the best player in the world, but also because he is a great person.

"He is a reference player, he has provided a great image for us everywhere in the world and Frank Rijkaard is delighted with him. He will continue many years here because, in addition, he deserves to."
