Future at Corinthians uncertain for Roger

After spending the night on the bench for Corinthians 2-2 Copa Brasil tie against Náutico yesterday Roger did not travel back to São Paulo with his team mates.

While the rest of the Corinthians delegation returned to São Paulo he travelled to Rio alone to deal with “personal problems.” He also failed to take part in a post-match training session for those that did not play on Wednesday.

Paulo César Carpegiani, who officially took over as coach today is said to be unhappy with his behaviour and has called a meeting to discuss his future tomorrow.
