Despite loosing 3-1 to Santos on Wednesday two-times champions Grêmio have booked their place in the Copa Libertadores final.
They will face Boca Juniors over two legs. They are expected to travel to the Bombonera on Wednesday and entertain the Argentineans the following week.
Grêmio only advance thanks to the away goals rule; they won 2-0 at home but went on to loose 3-1 at Santos.
Santos put on a brave show with a double from Renatinho and another from Ze Roberto but Diego Souza's 24 minute strike rendered their efforts irrelevant.
