Inter express Emerson interest

Emerson's name has apparently been raised in talks between Real Madrid and Inter Milan over the future of striker Adriano.

Inter Milan will be keen to get one over rivals AC Milan, who have also expressed an interest in the Brazilian, after they snapped up Cagliari striker David Suazo.

Some have suggested however that AC have already broken off talks with Madrid in retaliation for their ongoing bid to entice Kaká the Bernabeu.

No agreement between Madrid and Inter has been reached over Adriano and now Fenerbahce, coached by Zico and new home to Roberto Carlos, are believed to be considering an offer.

Rumours of an Eto'O - Adriano swap have been quashed as the unsettled strike did not appear on Barca's summer wish list revealed over the weekend.
