Chelsea change Brazilian right backs

After negotiations for Daniel Alves failed Chelsea quickly moved to sign Juliano Belletti from Barcelona on a three-year deal, and the move has come as quite a shock for the player as well.

"It has all been a great surprise," said Belletti, who has joined for an undisclosed fee.

"Just yesterday I talked with Chelsea. We reached an agreement and so did Chelsea and Barcelona with no problem.

"Everyone's happy - me, Barcelona and most importantly Chelsea.

"I know a bit about what the Premier League is like. I know it's a tough league but I'm coming here with plenty of ambition and desire. I want to win trophies."
