Resume.

A Daniel Carvalho goal in the 62nd minute got Brazil a 1-1 draw against Norway in Oslo.

The draw was the fourth straight match between the two countries that Brazil have failed to win.

Dunga's new look Brazil started the game brightly, passing quickly and controlling the tempo of the game, in a first half littered with chances at both ends.

But it was Norway who made the break through with Gamst Pedersen scoring in the 51st minute when he curled a superb free kick from about 25 yards out, past the wall and beyond Gomes's reach.

But Brazil came back stronger. After several missed chances Daniel Carvalho scored in the 62nd with a left-foot shot from inside the box. Norway's goal keeper Thomas Myhre, who made several good saves throughout the match, had no chance as the ball went in close to his right post.

Whilst Dunga would clearly have preferred a win in his first game in charge, he can take strength from the fact that his young team (without several key players Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Adriano etc..) held their own against a strong Norwegian team.

Brazil next face Argentina in a friendly in London on the 3rd of September.
